Position Summary
The Staff Accountant – eGaming will support Arrow’s eGaming business unit with general accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, fixed assets, inventory-related accounting, and audit support.
This role will work cross-functionally with Accounting, Inventory Management, Procurement, Cost Accounting, and other business partners to ensure accurate financial reporting and support ongoing process improvement within the eGaming business.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries to ensure accurate recording of business transactions.
- Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations using OneStream or other company reconciliation tools.
- Ensure sufficient support and documentation exists to justify account balances.
- Own eGaming equipment CIP inventory schedules to support balance sheet and cash flow activity.
- Partner with Inventory Management, Procurement, and Cost Accounting to ensure CIP transactional activity is accurate and inconsistencies are resolved timely.
- Maintain eGaming fixed asset records and communicate monthly additions, retirements, and related updates.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and determine any journal entries needed based on reconciliation results.
- Support month-end close processes, year-end close processes, and other accounting activities as assigned.
- Assist with audit fieldwork by providing support for journal entries, reconciliations, and account balances.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to support business unit visibility and decision-making.
- Engage with different levels of the organization to better understand eGaming operations and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support a work environment focused on quality, communication, collaboration, teamwork, and system integration.
- Think and work independently with limited direct supervision while meeting deadlines and communicating progress or concerns timely.
- Support ad hoc projects, reporting needs, and financial analysis as assigned.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
- 1+ year of related accounting, finance, audit, or business experience.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong attention to detail and accountability for work produced.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with all levels of management and cross-functional business partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of corporate, financial, and shareholder information.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively.
- Experience with OneStream, SAP, Salesforce.com, Tableau, or similar systems is a plus.
- Experience in public accounting, gaming, banking, regulated industries, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Exposure to month-end close, account reconciliations, fixed assets, inventory accounting, intercompany accounting, or audit support preferred.
