Job DescriptionSolidigm was previously known as Intel Non-Volatile-Solution Group, which was acquired by SK Hynix in December 2021. Solidigm is one of the top players providing enterprise storage solutions to customers worldwide. We are inviting talents to join us to better support Solidigm business growth in China.
In this position, you will be involved in developing next-generation NVMe SSD testing equipment and maintaining existing equipment that has already been deployed in the factory. Specific job responsibilities include test system architecture design, PCIe high-speed circuit system design, microcontroller firmware design, FPGA Verilog design, and signal integrity analysis etc.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts or participates in multidisciplinary research in the design, development, testing and utilization of information processing hardware and/or electrical components, mechanisms, materials, and/or circuitry, processes, packaging, and cabinetry for central processing units (CPUs) and/or peripheral equipment.
- Prepares specifications, evaluates vendors, and analyzes test reports. Ensures products conform to standards and specifications. Develops plans and cost estimates and assesses projects to analyze risk.
- Develops procedures, analysis and design for computer components, products, and systems. Initiates, guides, and coordinates overall design and development of new ideas and products.
- Responds to customer/client requests or events as they occur.
- Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in hardware system design; familiarity with PCIe system design is a plus.
- Proficient in Xilinx or Intel (Altera) FPGA platforms, with hands-on FPGA development experience.
- Strong understanding of storage systems and PCIe/NVMe protocols; experience with PCIe switches and peripheral interfaces such as SPI, I2C/I3C, and USB etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
