Lead the SSC functions for Indonesia providing accounting support for several legal entities and oversee all accounting functions ensuring the timely recording and integrity of the financial data.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: List and describe the duties and responsibilities of this job.
Oversee all accounting functions within the SSC Indonesia including: G/L, A/R, A/P, Inventory and payroll accounting. Conduct monthly/quarterly/annual closes.
Maintain review processes to ensure the accuracy of information in the areas of payroll, inventory reconciliation, G/L, A/R and A/P.
Responsible for the integrity of financial data for reporting and analysis for senior management and department managers.
Maintain an internal control structure for the functions and processes and assures that transactions are executed with appropriate management authorization. Train relevant staff on control procedures as needed.
Assist with audits (financial, SOX, internal, compliance, tax). Review and note any issues with internal controls relevant to the SSC processes.
Prepare and/or review all reconciliations for the department and verify accuracy and completeness of all financial assertions on the balance sheet.
Communicate issues, status, and accomplishments to Asia Pacific SSC Controller regarding areas of responsibility in a timely manner including information to assist management in decision-making.
Communicate necessary information with the Operations Field Personnel to ensure accuracy of the financial statements.
Assist in establishing, implementing, and monitoring policies and procedures necessary to support and provide accurate and timely reporting.
Maintain open lines of communication and work independently as well as part of a team.
EDUCATION: Indicate the minimum level and type of education required for this job.
Bachelor's degree plus five or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience including managing people.

Strong theoretical and practical application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
Demonstrated ability to multitask in a high volume environment
Demonstrated time management skills
Demonstrated leadership skills as well as strong reconciliation and research skills
Must possess strong reconciliation skills for high volume, high dollar accounts
Must have expert familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the accounting field including an understanding of GAAP
Must work well under pressure
