ESO Supply Chain Manager

Job description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced ESO Supply Chain Manager to lead the team at our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply and demand planning processes to ensure consistent service levels, effective inventory management, and fulfillment of customer requirements.
Main responsibilities
• S&OP: lead and participate in S&OP monthly meetings to align
demand, supply and financial plans for the tactical horizon of 3
to 36 months.
• Demand Review: owns the Demand process consolidating Net
requirements and providing inputs to ESO/Region IBP including
coordination with key Customers and stakeholders; Supply
Review; owns the Supply process consolidated the Supplier’s
plan and providing inputs to ESO/Region S&OP.
• Supply Planning: ensure optimal levels of inventory to meet
service target while minimizing excess stock and obsolescence.
• Develop and execute supply plans aligned with forecasted
demand, production schedules and lead times.
• Collaborate with internal teams to manage supplier relationships,
lead times and capacities.
• Inventory management: monitor inventory levels to maintain
service levels while balancing cost efficiency and working capital
targets.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to stock shortages,
overstocking or obsolescence.
• Drive initiatives to achieve and exceed service levels targets,
including order fulfillment rates and on-time delivery.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within the supply
and demand planning areas.
• Work closely with production, logistics, SRTs and commercial
teams to align supply chain strategies with broader business
objectives.
• Serve as a point of contact for supply-chain related issues within
the SRT.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including
industry standards.
Basic requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business
Administration, Operations Management or related field;
• Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s in Supply Chain
Management...)is preferred);
• APICS certification or similar is valuable;
• Minimum 5 years professional experience in supply chain
specifically in the demand planning and supply planning space
from leading FMCG or Pharmaceutical companies;
• Demonstrated experience in S&OP leadership & successfully
implementing best practices and processes in a demand and/or
supply planning organization;
• Operations, Inventory and Demand planning;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Strategic thinker and data-driven mindset;
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
