We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Global SRE team at Resmed. In this role, you’ll blend software engineering and systems engineering to help ensure our large-scale, distributed digital products are reliable, scalable, and efficient. You’ll work closely with software, platform, and product teams to design, build, and operate systems that support Resmed’s customers worldwide.
Responsibilities
Apply GenAI and AI/ML techniques to automate and improve SRE workflows, including incident response, alert triage, postmortems, operational analysis, and knowledge retrieval.
Design and build automation that improves reliability, observability, and operational efficiency across cloud platforms and services.
Partner with engineering and platform teams to identify opportunities to reduce operational toil and improve service resilience through intelligent automation.
Define and measure service health using metrics, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, and customer-impact indicators.
Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing solutions that improve visibility into system health and operational risk.
Analyze system performance, scalability, capacity, and reliability trends, and drive continuous improvement across production environments.
Collaborate with security, privacy, and compliance teams to ensure AI-enabled automation is implemented responsibly and securely.
Qualifications
Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Software Engineering, or ML Engineering.
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, infrastructure as code, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong Python skills for automation, tooling, or backend engineering.
Solid understanding of distributed systems, networking, and production operations.
Experience with observability platforms such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
Experience with AI/ML or GenAI-enabled automation, including AI-assisted workflows, prompt-driven systems, or retrieval-based approaches, is preferred.
