International Regions Marketing Leader, S&RC

The International Regions Marketing Leader, S&RC is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of marketing strategies based on strong consumer/ customers/ people insights. The role reviews and collaborates on a multi-year marketing plan and supports in developing consistent go-to-market strategies. The role drives engagement through digital communities, manages peer to peer engagements, and optimizes demand generation campaigns. The role directs Insights & Analytics, deploys the Marketing Transformation program, and manages talent and succession planning.

Your role:

  • Owns the activation of the Regional Marketing Plan with defined commercial unlock priorities, (to be afterwards customized on local and key account level), including x-category enablers definition.
  • Orchestrates marketing cadence and launch / NPI process across the region and ensures strategy and execution are synchronized.
  • Puts consumer and customer at the center, via thorough understanding of local/Regional needs and insights at customer and consumer level to impact Regional plans.
  • Leads Integrated Marketing efforts, aligning with global business and marketing objectives to drive overall brand strength and executing brand activities.
  • Drives the enhancement of end-to-end consumer experience by amplifying global propositions with superior presence, ensuring marketing excellence via the strategic development and continuous optimization of demand generation activation across digital and offline channels.
  • Drives media planning and effectiveness via continuous ROI improvement via MMM application, steering media briefings and delivering media plans (together with local digital managers on zone level where applicable) including Joint Business Planning with relevant partners.
  • Owns external agency relationship (media, localization, creative where applicable, PR, etc.) including reviewing the roster, setting SOW and C'SAT/KPI setting and auditing results and compliance in cooperation with procurement.
  • Collaborates closely with (Regional) Business leaders to develop effective channel strategies to drive market growth, and facilitates shopper excellence by orchestrating promotional planning and toolkit requirements for top customers.
  • Optimizes creative content adaptation by channel based on performance, and complements with local content and activation where needed, whilst adhering to Brand and sub-Brand standards.
  • Drives the elevation of philips.com to maximize engagement (measure: NPS) , translating global strategies into relevant local .com plans, developing and implementing x-category consumer engagement journeys, CRM programs, merchandising the platform, driving the collaboration with market places partners.
  • Is externally focused and drives a continuous benchmark in line with market, competition, consumer and customer trends.
  • Plans and ensures alignment across Region for A&P planning, effectiveness and efficiency both working and non-working.
  • Builds capabilities in own team whilst raising the norm in the entire Regional community by adopting best practices and sharing standards of excellence, acting as Capability Champion for the entire Marketing organization.
  • Leads succession planning and comprehensive talent management, driving employee selection, performance management, compensation management, and career development in alignment with organizational operational goals.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor's/ Master's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce Management or equivalent.
  • 11_+ years of experience in areas such as E2E in Product Management, Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, E-commerce, Marketing Research, B2B, B2C, or B2G Marketing, Brand Management, New Product Launches, Campaign Management or equivalent.
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce Management or equivalent preferred.
  • Experienced in managing teams >20+ people, Strong competency E2E in Product Management and Product marketing.
  • Strong executive level interpersonal skills 
  • A world class, senior level marketing & commercial professional with a proven track record of success managing people and complex multi discipline scenarios
  • Demonstrated success at developing and communicating a clear strategic vision and effectively executing that vision.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and implement Marketing Strategies. 
  • Ability to work with and manage by influence a large diverse teams to drive business and organizational priorities
  • Ability to embrace change and drive change management within the organization

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
