Join our Finance Technology Team as our Senior Workday Financials Analyst, a newly established position at AllianceBernstein within our Global Technology & Operations Business Unit. Collaborating alongside a passionate team of analysts and developers as well as finance business leaders and teams, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact as we begin our post-implementation journey with Workday Financials.
What You’ll Do:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious problem solver to lead and innovate within a global organization. Following the established implementation of Workday HCM and all associated products, we will go live with the implementation of Workday Financials, Expenses, Procurement, Account Center, Prism, and Adaptive Planning which will enable this role with the unique opportunity to be on the frontend of our global Finance Transformation.
What We’re Looking For:
Reporting to the Head of Corporate Finance Technology, serve as Senior Workday Financials Analyst and expert within the team and support continuous development and upskill of peers and partners within the newly implemented products.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, accounting or a related field.
+4 years of combined experience with Core Financials, Expenses, and Procurement as well as accounting principles and practices.
Workday certifications or additional experience supporting other Workday Products such as Accounting Center, Prism, Adaptive Planning, Advanced Financial Reporting, or Payroll will distinguish you as a standout candidate.
Preferred experience with a shared Workday HCM environment.
Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams, including business users and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document requirements.
Ability to research, diagnose, and resolve configuration issues both as an individual contributor and in partnership with multiple stakeholder teams.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with various stakeholders.
Ability to research, diagnose, and resolve configuration issues both as an individual contributor and in partnership with multiple stakeholder teams.
Align with functional leads for Financials, Expenses, Procurement, and Prism/Accounting Center for execution of planned work.
Validate prioritization and categorization of tickets, changes, and enhancements with the business/functional leads.
Resolve high-priority incidents and act as tier 2 escalation.
Maintain a deep understanding of Workday's data model, corporate system architecture, interfaces, reporting, and data loading procedures.
Provide Workday and subject matter expertise to business process owners and colleagues.
Stay updated on Workday functionality, training, and best practices
Perform impact assessments for Workday upgrades and cross application enhancements
Facilitate user acceptance and validation of functionality with the business.
Assist with testing integration and security cases.
Develop QA Strategy in partnership with other product leads and solutions analysts
Work with Functional Leads and Process Owners to develop requirements for Workday changes.
Manage the configurations of Workday applications.
Coordinate feature/function cases with Workday
Identify areas for process improvement and sponsor improvement activities.
Create tier 2 escalated, advanced Workday reports as needed by business users.
