Job Title:Sr. West Coast Account & Latin America Marketing Engineer
Summary:Responsible for providing technical and application product support to our customers.
Responsibilities Include:

Accountable for developing short-term and long-term plans addressing industry and market trends in supporting technical aspects of sales.

Elaborating accurate sales forecast in line with the growth strategy for the West Coast sectors for the Elastomers segment to maximize sales and market share.

Coordinates with other functional roles such as Technology, Sales, Product Management, Marketing and Operations, EHS and Product Stewardship.

Owns technical aspects of key commercial account relationships for the Elastomers segment.

Serves as a source of market intelligence and technical knowledge of industry trends that will allow the Elastomers segment to position products optimally for the customers and markets we serve.

Responsible for assessing market needs and trends to identify new opportunities to establish an elastomers marketing strategy for Latin America.

Develops, communicates, and executes market segment strategies and marketing plans for selected markets.

Assesses current distribution/channel partners in Latin America and works with the Regional Channel Leader, Global Channel Leader, and Regional Leader & General Manager of Latin America to develop and execute a distribution strategy for Latin America.

Introduce new products to the market to grow the Elastomers segment by growing the business through further penetration, expansion, and diversification to ensure the generation of profitable growth (volume, margin, and profit) while limiting/managing erosion share loss.

Creating, sustaining, and delivering technical solutions to the customer base while maximizing sales, volume and profits for Momentive.

Driving business development through new customers, new applications, and new products.

Meeting annual and quarterly sales targets; and timely entry of new NPIs into SAP.

Requires 50% of domestic and international travel.

Qualifications:
The following are required for the role

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

5+ years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Marketing/Sales role, or in a related position.
Special Requirements:
Experience with:
-
Liquid Silicone Rubber and High Consistency Rubber Chemistry and technology;
-
Injection molding, extrusion, and calendaring of Silicone Elastomers;
-
Sales and marketing experience in North America and Latin America;
-
Negotiating and executing contracts incorporating channel or direct suppliers;
-
Project and product management including determining pricing strategy, product, and market positioning;
-
Developing and providing a multi-year product and supply plan that addresses market trends;
-
Managing changes in the product life cycle to maximize the profitability of the product line; and
-
Developing new business strategies to expand Elastomers marketing for both North America and Latin America.

Requires good hand-eye coordination, and arm, hand, and finger dexterity, including the ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate equipment, and learn technical information. Light lifting is required.

What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $135,000 - $186,450
The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Local geographic pay differentials may not be reflected in the above pay range and will be discussed with you by a member of the HR team when applicable. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
