YOUR ROLE

As a Sr. Web Developer you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain PHP‑based web applications using modern frameworks and best practices.

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues across front‑end and back‑end components.

  • Review existing code, refactor legacy modules, and improve overall application stability and performance.

  • Implement secure coding practices and ensure applications meet company security and compliance standards.

  • Integrate web applications with internal systems, databases, and third‑party services (APIs, authentication, etc.).

  • Manage deployment processes, version control, and environment configurations.

  • Contribute to architecture discussions and recommend improvements to system design and development workflows.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE 

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • 5 years of working experience with web technologies

  • Experience and knowledge of PHP language (last versions and 5.3 for legacy code)

  • Experience with high custom PHP frameworks

  • Familiarity with MVC architecture

  • Proficient to plan and lead system updates

  • Experience with relational databases (MySQL, last versions and 5.6 for legacy db), including schema design and query development.

  • Familiarity with Oracle DB

  • Knowledge related with REST API Integrations between more systems

  • Front-end skills including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

  • Experience with React framework for front-end development

  • Familiar with GIT, Bitbucket and IT/DevOps processes

  • Familiarity with Jira Management tools
