The Role

Reporting to the Sr. UX Research Manager, the Senior UX Researcher conducts advanced UX research activities and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams. The Senior UX Researcher provides critical insights that shape product development and improve user satisfaction. 

Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Conducts advanced UX research activities and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams 
  • Designs and conducts comprehensive research studies to gather deep insights into user behavior and needs 
  • Collaborates closely with team members and cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive research efforts 
  • Works towards achieving set research goals and objectives, providing high-quality insights 
  • Analyzes research data and presents insights that inform product development and strategy. 
  • Manages multiple research projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of insights 
  • Shares knowledge and expertise with team members to support their professional development 
  • Applies industry best practices and innovative approaches in conducting research 
  • Advocates for user-centered design in research and product development activities 
  • Conducts research activities ethically and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards 
  • Reports on research findings and project progress to the research team and stakeholders 
  • Works to align research efforts with business objectives and product strategy 
  • Applies and advocates for innovative research methodologies and best practices 
  • Documents research processes, findings, and insights for organizational learning 
  • Stays informed about industry trends and applies new technologies in research activities 
  • Works with stakeholders to communicate the importance and findings of UX research 
  • Shares research insights with stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner 
  • Contributes research insights to strategic planning and team meetings 
  • Offers guidance and support to team members to improve their research skills 
  • Engages in and promotes continuous learning and improvement within the research team 
  • Manages resources efficiently for assigned research projects 

 

Preferred Qualifications & Attributes: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience 
  • 5+ years of experience in UX research 
  • Extensive experience in conducting UX research and delivering actionable insights 
  • Experienced in applying both quantitative and qualitative UX research methods 
  • Ability to connect research insights to business goals and measure their impact 
  • Communicate research findings to stakeholders to build empathy for user needs 
  • Experience working with stakeholders to deliver research insights that drive business value 
  • Experience conducting research in environments characterized by ambiguity and change 
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, and sales 
  • Portfolio demonstrating the ability to generate actionable insights from research data 
  • Ability to share knowledge and provide guidance to improve team research capabilities 
  • Strong project management and mentorship skills 
  • Good communication skills for sharing research insights with the team and stakeholders 
  • Proven ability to conduct research projects efficiently in a dynamic setting 
  • Proficient in analyzing research data and generating actionable insights. 

Compensation: $115,000 - $145,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
