KFC is seeking a UX/UI Designer to help deliver intuitive, engaging, and globally consistent digital experiences across our web and mobile platforms. This role will contribute to the design and optimization of customer-facing journeys, supporting key business goals such as conversion, engagement, sales, and digital growth.
As part of the Atlas / Brand Experience team, you will work on KFC’s global web and mobile app platform, designed to deliver a consistent, high-quality digital experience across all markets. Atlas ensures that—like leading global platforms—the core UX/UI feels familiar and intuitive wherever customers engage with KFC.
The platform is built on a foundation of global UX/UI standardization, enabling scalable, efficient design and development. At the same time, it supports targeted localization, allowing markets to tailor menu offerings, merchandising, and promotions to meet local customer needs while maintaining a cohesive core experience.
In this role, you will focus on designing and delivering web and mobile app experiences, while contributing to the evolution of systems and patterns that may extend to additional channels in the future.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Experience Strategy & Standards
Contribute to the execution of KFC’s global UX/UI vision across web and mobile app experiences (Atlas platform)
Apply and support the evolution of the global design system and component library, ensuring consistency and quality
Design solutions that align with global standards while accommodating local market needs where appropriate
Follow best practices for accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), inclusive design, and mobile-first performance
Design & Research Execution
Design end-to-end user experiences for key digital journeys, including browsing, ordering, and loyalty across web and app
Produce wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that are user-centered and aligned to brand standards
Support and participate in user research and usability testing, translating insights into design improvements
Iterate designs based on data, feedback, and testing results to continuously improve usability and performance
Cross‑Functional Partnership & Delivery
Partner with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to deliver high-quality digital experiences
Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to ensure designs meet both user needs and business goals
Support integration of campaigns, promotions, and merchandising into the digital experience
Ensure UX/UI consistency and quality across features, platforms, and releases
Team Contribution & Growth
Actively participate in design critiques, reviews, and team rituals
Maintain high standards of design craft, attention to detail, and usability
Seek and incorporate feedback to continuously improve design skills and impact
Stay informed on UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
3–6 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably on consumer-facing digital products
Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design work across web and/or mobile applications
Experience working with or contributing to design systems
Solid understanding of interaction design, visual design, and usability principles
Familiarity with user research methods and ability to apply insights to design decisions
Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing partners
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale
Detail-oriented with a passion for craft, consistency, and user-centered design
Experience in global or multi-market environments is a plus
TOOLS & TECHNOLOGIES
Design & Prototyping: Figma (preferred)
Prototyping & Interaction: Figma prototyping
Design Systems: Experience working within and contributing to component libraries and design systems (e.g., Figma libraries, tokens)
Collaboration & Handoff: Figma, Jira, Confluence, Slack
User Research & Testing: UserTesting or similar tools
Analytics & Experimentation: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, FullStory, Adobe Analytics, and A/B testing platforms
Content & Collaboration: Experience working with content/design systems and tools like CMS platforms is a plus
