The UI (User Interface) Designer is responsible for the visual and interactive elements of digital products like websites and mobile apps. They will translate user flows and wireframes into polished, high-fidelity mockups, ensuring the interface is both aesthetically pleasing and highly intuitive.
Essential Functions:Candidate should be detail oriented and will be responsible for the following:
- Coordinating with staff to understand requirements of new functionality and user needs
- Conducting user interviews to identify user needs and translate findings into actionable design improvements.
- Prototyping through wireframes and mock ups for user-centric experiences
- Updating corporate website and intranet with a content management system as needed
- Iterating on design improvements to drive UI consistency and meet user needs across platforms.
- Evaluating end-to-end workflows to enhance usability and efficiency for both administrators and external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of visual hierarchy, color theory, typog or raphy, and responsive web design
- Establishing and maintaining UI patterns, components, and guidelines to ensure visual consistency across platforms
- Working with business users on any web content changes
- Utilizing a survey tool creating conditional content surveys
- Support the creation of surveys, polls and registrations
- Excellent customer service

Chracteristics and Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, UI Design, Web Design or UX Design or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience
- Experience with website maintenance or creation •Understanding of mobile first direction, as well as responsive design
- Experience with prototyping and mockup tools •General understanding of HTML, CSS and Web content management systems
- Experience with Axure, Sitecore, and Qualtrics is a plus
- User Experience Certification is a plus
- Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
- Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
- Experience using verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)
