The Senior Graphic Designer will spearhead the development of innovative and impactful visual content for SNC. This role involves leading the design team, managing complex projects, and ensuring the highest standards of visual communication across all media.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the creation and production of cutting-edge graphics, illustrations, and layouts for marketing, sales, and operational materials.
  • Develop and drive visual content strategies for high-stakes presentations, proposals, and product documentation.
  • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliverables.
  • Ensure all visual materials adhere to brand guidelines and industry standards.
  • Review and critique design work to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Lead and manage a team of designers, providing mentorship and professional development.
  • Manage multiple high-impact projects and ensure on-time delivery.
  • Integrate the latest design trends and technologies into visual content.
  • Represent the design team in strategic meetings and presentations.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in graphic design or related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications. In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of related experience is required. 
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience. 
  • Extensive experience with graphics design application programs and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Advanced Skills in Adobe Creative Cloud Software, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat.
  • Ability to work successfully in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing high-level design projects and innovation.
  • Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience with software application programs such as, SolidWorks, 3DS Max, The Foundry Modo, Zbrush, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Filezilla, Wordpress tools, and Google Apps.
  • Exposure to web and print design, video/audio editing, 2D and/or 3D animation.
  • Understanding of 3D printing software such as Autodesk Mesh Fusion, 3DS Z Edit Pro, Autodesk NetFabb, or Google Sketchup.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
  • Regular use of hand/finger dexterity for designing and typing.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Capability to work in an office or hybrid environment.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $124,771.42 - $171,560.71. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
