Edina Realty Title is seeking a Sr. Title Closing Processor in our Wayzata, MN closing center. Work as part of the closing team and become an integral part of our buyers’ and sellers’ big day. As a Sr. Title Closing Processor, you will be responsible for preparing closing files that will be reviewed and signed at the closing table. You’ll work side-by-side with closers, lenders, production staff and agents as a key team member. This is an in-office position and work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:  

  • Prepare and balance the closing disclosure, settlement statements and documentation necessary for closing the transaction.  
  • Ensure that professional and proper procedures are followed in the closing of the real estate and mortgage transactions. This includes proper accounting of escrow funds, reviewing lender packages, recording packages, and correction of all if necessary.  
  • Monitor the upcoming transaction, reviewing for completeness and compliance and ensuring all necessary information has been ordered and is accurate, i.e. payoff, abstract, title evidence, reports, mortgage documentation, and other pertinent information and review for completeness and compliance. 
  • Ensure that title issues are resolved prior to closing.   

Qualifications:   

Education:  

  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience and knowledge. 

  Experience:  

  • Two to five years of real estate, mortgage or title experience strongly preferred. 

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Strong computer skills. 
  • Effective oral and written communication skills. 
  • Must be able to work efficiently, handle deadline pressures and work as a member in a team-environment. 
  • Effective interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, with a customer service focus. 
  • Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.  Must possess a strong aptitude for figures. 
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently. 

Other (licenses, certifications, schedule flexibility/OT, travel, etc.): 

  • Ability to occasionally work extra hours during peak times of the month. 
  • Willingness to travel if needed. 
  • Position may require a title license.

Wage:   $23 - $26 hourly; actual wage is based upon education and experience. Potential for formulary incentive plan, based on financial results.
