We are seeking a skilled Sr Test Manufacturing Engineer with an academic background in Electronic Engineering (or equivalent eng. Background) and at least 8+ years of experience in similar roles to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, debugging, and validating electronic assemblies, ensuring product quality and reliability throughout the production process.

Experience in structured and international industrial environments is highly valued.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop, program, and maintain custom test stands (test benches) for electronic assemblies. Experience on SOW preparation according to international standards
  • Configure and optimize test setups, including instrumentation and fixtures
  • Use and integrate boundary scan techniques (XJTAG tools) for testing and debugging
  • Support and improve functional testing processes
  • Developing and optimizing testing procedures for both New Product Introduction (NPI) and released products (ISO 9100)
  • Collaborate with teams involved in Design for Testing (DfT) on PCBA
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of proven experience in: 
    • Debugging electronic boards (PCBAs)
    • Test stand programming and setup (including XJTAG)
    • Configuration of test benches (NI Teststand, NI LabVIEW) 
    • Design for Testing (DfT) principles and implementation
  • Strong understanding of electronic components and circuits
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documentation
  • proven experience in PCB design using Altium, Xpedition or similar sw
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

In compliance with regulations on the secure handling of certain information, Italian citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Understanding of ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) platforms used in high-volume production: bed-of-nails (fixtures) and flying probe technologies
  • Basic knowledge of ICT (In-Circuit Test) systems
  • Basic understanding of Python


Annual gross salary from 36.906,87€ and applicable NCBA is Metalmeccanici (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per i dipendenti delle industrie metalmeccaniche private e della installazione di impianti). The salary we're displaying represents only the minimum wage according to CLA applied. Final salary offer will depend on your experience and qualifications and are also based on objective and gender-neutral criteria. Incentives and benefits to be part of the offer.

Skills Required
