Job Description:
MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated and very hands-on ATE Test Development Engineer. The candidate will be involved in all phases of product development: design for testability, test hardware, hands-on debug, correlation, characterization and offshore production release.
Essential Functions:
- Design component-level test program for precision parametric measurement, dynamic signal analysis and creates automated test system software for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits.
- Involved in all phases of product development: design for testability, test hardware, hands-on debug, correlation, characterization, and offshore production release.
- Possess knowledge of major concepts of test engineering and can apply these concepts to a wide range of complex assignments.
- Develop and sustain production & characterization software and hardware for high-speed devices using Advantest 93K
- Given a specification, create a test program to validate and stress test the part.
- Work with design and product engineering to ensure quality testing methods and limits for new products.
- Transfer of production testing to offshore facilities.
Qualifications:
- Required: Minimum of 5 years test development experience.
- BSEE required, MSEE a plus.
- Advantest 93K test development program experience
- Experience DDR, LPDDR, and memory interface ATE testing at speeds > 8GT/s
- Experience creating test programs to validate functionality and chip timing on the ATE. Including host and DRAM training test programs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Required: Minimum of 5 years test experience in DDR, LPDDR application
