Duties & Responsibilities:
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Test Engineer to join our team. This role will involve using our proprietary products to automate and execute tests on communication radios, ensuring their functionality and performance meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Python and a basic understanding of RF, RF modulation and RF measurements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python scripts automating testing on Comm radios and other devices.
- Analyze test results to identify performance issues and provide detailed reports.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to design and implement test scenarios for new products.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing, RF performance, and Python scripts.
- Document test procedures, results, and any software modifications.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in RF technology and testing methodologies.
Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python programming for test automation and data analysis.
- Basic understanding of RF principles, including modulations and signal processing.
- Ability to interpret and analyze complex technical data.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to document and explain test results to cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
