- Designing and developing automated tests (integration, acceptance, performance).
- Translating user stories and acceptance criteria into executable test cases.
- Planning, creating, and managing test cases and test suites.
- Troubleshooting and resolving code-related issues for enhancements and change requests.
- Acting as the technical point of contact for test automation.
- Developing Python applications using JIRA REST API to synchronize JIRA systems or fault reporting tools.
- Implementing and testing automated solutions.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver JIRA sync solutions.
- Performing Linux installations and configurations.
- Supporting stakeholders by debugging issues in developed solutions.
- Communicating technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in Python and Java (Spring Boot, Hibernate, Maven).
- Strong knowledge of SQL (Postgres/MySQL).
- Hands-on experience with Atlassian JIRA systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies (e.g., Jenkins, Docker, AWS, GitLab).
- Experience in software development, infrastructure, or DevOps.
- Ability to make informed decisions after consulting stakeholders.
- Curiosity to stay updated on emerging technologies in automation.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in multicultural, multi-site environments.
- Knowledge of location-based services (mapping, navigation, GPS).
- Testing certifications (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE, CP-BAT, CP-MAT, CP-SAT).
- Experience with embedded or automotive hardware test environments.
- Exposure to testing safety-critical equipment.
