About the role

As (Sr.) SiC Power Device Test & Characterization Engineer, you will validate and analyze advanced Silicon Carbide devices using high-end lab equipment. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help define test strategies, ensure product quality, and support the development of next-generation power technologies.


This is your new job
  • Lab validation measurements of semiconductor Silicon Carbide (SiC) Diodes and MOSFETs
  • Define test strategies, test limits, and parameter setups for SiC MOSFETs, diodes, and power devices based on device specifications and characterization targets. Document test strategies in work instructions
  • Responsible for co-ordinating test parameters between Development, Application, Quality and Characterization labs
  • Perform required measurements with high-end measurement equipment on package and wafer level in strong interaction with development engineers
  • Perform parameter extractions for device simulation models
  • Responsible for operational reliability of lab equipment (Gage R&R)
  • Develop and maintain lab automatization tools
  • Investigate competitor products and technologies
This is you
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
  • Practical working experience in lab environment, preferably for voltages higher 650V
  • Programming knowledge (e.g. Python and Labview) would be beneficial
  • Highly motivated team player with excellent organizational skills and focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to take ownership and initiative
  • High quality mindset
  • Fluent German and English skills both written and spoken
