How will you make an impact?
In this role, you will develop API documentation and developer documentation for a cloud-native platform. You will collaborate with various teams to produce high-quality documentation that elevate the experience of both internal and external developers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, manage, and maintain high-quality API documentation and developer documentation that facilitate the use of our products and services.
- Collaborate closely with developers and other technical staffs to gather necessary information.
- Contribute to the development of documentation strategies and plans.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
- Mentor other technical writers on the process of creating and maintaining the developer documentation
Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical writing.

Extensive experience with developer documentation and API documentation.
- Proficiency in planning and building API reference output using tools like Swagger, and crafting comprehensive developer guides with code samples.
- Ability to read software code as source material.
- Experience with docs-as-code approach and static site generators, preferably Docusaurus.

Experience with HTML, CSS, and Markdown.
- Experience with source control software such as Perforce or GitHub.
- Experience documenting IDEs, Web services technologies, APIs, SDKs, SaaS applications, or enterprise-class client-server software.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Practical experience with documentation tools, content management systems, and version control systems.

Should be able to drive team strategy and direction.

Demonstrable ability to independently lead projects and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in an IT software development environment.

Experience with MDX (Markdown with React components).

Familiarity with React or other similar web development frameworks
- Ability to identify process gaps and advise the team management on quality and efficiency.
- Experience collaborating with documentation teams in other verticals to build consensus and best practices.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to provide writing samples and take a test on camera or at our office
