Role Specific Duties:
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft clear, concise, and persuasive proposal content and technical concepts at a high quality.
- Independently lead content planning sessions in collaboration with proposal stakeholders to ensure the proposal incorporates customer-resonating winning strategies and solution elements, including win themes, ghosts, discriminators, and risk mitigations. Infuse “story” and architect content into the proposal outline and content to maximize the evaluation score.
- Write structurally compliant, responsive, and scorable proposal content within compressed timeframes.
- Translate technical and complex ideas into easily understandable text that maximizes proposal evaluation score-ability.
- Conduct research to gain a thorough understanding of the project or business opportunity and demonstrate a clear comprehension of the technical domain relevant to the service being documented.
- Contribute to post-submission lessons learned, attend debriefs and analyze proposal content against outcomes to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior proposal team members as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, computer science, or related fields, plus 5 years of relevant experience writing and working with technical SMEs to develop compelling and compliant technical proposal content.
- Demonstrated experience writing technical responses for technical volumes of the proposal’s response.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Exchange, and Adobe Professional
- Excellent and proven ability to initiate and organize work, establish priorities in a time-sensitive environment, and meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality.
- Possess strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, ability to visualize information, and communication with multiple audiences.
- Self-starter; works effectively and productively with limited supervision.
- Maintaining a strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate on a team is required.
- Excellent time management and organization skills.
- Solid ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet all deadlines.
- US Citizenship or Green Card holders with at least 3 years of residence within the US.
- Candidates will have to undergo public sector MBI Clearance.
