The Role:
The Logitech G team is looking for a Sr. Technical Project Manager to manage gaming product development across different product categories from concept through mass production. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented hardware and associated system software project /program manager with a proven record of delivering best-in-class products on time and on budget. The successful candidate will thrive working closely with engineering and manufacturing, and excel at managing a global, cross-functional team. The candidate should be able to manage and support multiple project execution tasks with a hands-on approach that ensures a high degree of personal interaction with the process.
Your Contribution:
Manage and coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) development through the product life cycle process from concept to product delivery, applying project management standards.
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing to deliver projects on time within defined expectations in terms of experience, cost, and quality.
Collaborate with Product Management, Design, Engineering, and Operations to explore and deliver the technical bricks for the needs of the roadmap.
Create risk management lists and contingency plans. Decide upon and execute contingency plans, when required.
Report and communicate regularly; escalate when project goals are at risk. This includes regular reporting of project status to key stakeholders, Business Group (BG) directors through management review meetings and Gate meetings as prescribed by internal development processes.
Build strong relationships with our key partners and stakeholders such as Design, OPS, and Business.
Identify with business counterparts innovation pillars, ingredients, and technologies required to fulfill the development of future roadmap - supervise the agreed plan.
Collaborate with Managers to improve project organization, efficiency (tools, processes), and time to market. Ensure that project activities operate within the policies and processes of the organization.
Your Qualifications and Skills:
10+ years engineering program/ project management experience of high volume consumer electronics products involving Gaming hardware using CM and ODM development and manufacturing models.Must be detail oriented, self-directed, with a high level of organizational skills
In-house expert on and most knowledgeable resource in HW (and/or SW) program management tools, techniques and processes
Strong interpersonal skills for working with a global/ international program/ project team, including but not limited to Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and Manufacturing functions
Manage and/ or provide mentoring and guidance to other team members
Experience in resources and budget planning
Good command of written & spoken English & Chinese, with proficiency in Mandarin
Must be willing to travel (~25%)
Education:
Minimum Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering.
PMP, Agile SCRUM Master certifications are a plus.
