The role
Raydar is recruiting for this opportunity through the Paraform network. The position is with our client. Lead equipment engineering projects from development through manufacturing readiness, coordinating technical teams, vendors, and acceptance testing.
What you'll do
- Own custom equipment programs from design through build, validation, and deployment.
- Coordinate engineering, suppliers, and manufacturing teams against milestones.
- Manage factory and site acceptance testing and vendor deliverables.
- Track technical risks, yield, output, quality, and readiness for production.
- Lead several concurrent equipment programs and resolve cross-functional delivery issues.
Requirements
What we're looking for
- 5 to 15 years in technical project or program management for semiconductor, optics, or precision manufacturing equipment.
- Direct ownership of custom capital equipment development and delivery.
- Experience managing vendors, contract manufacturers, and factory/site acceptance outcomes.
- Technical fluency across mechanical, electrical, software, controls, and process disciplines.
- Ability to manage four to five concurrent programs and take responsibility for results.
- Willingness to work on manufacturing floors and in cleanrooms using required protective equipment.

- Base salary: USD 140,000 to 160,000 per year.

Location and work model
- Fully onsite in Austin, Texas. This is an individual contributor position. A target start date of November 1, 2026 or sooner is listed.
