We’re willing to take risks, fail fast, and do it all over again in the pursuit of excellence.

If you have a good attitude and are willing to roll up your sleeves to get things done, PitchBook is the place for you.

About the Role:

As part of the Product and Engineering team at PitchBook, you will be part of a team of big thinkers, innovators, and problem solvers who strive to deepen the positive impact we have on our customers and our company every day. We value curiosity and the drive to find better ways of doing things. We thrive on customer empathy, which remains our focus when creating excellent customer experiences through product innovation.

We know that greatness is achieved through collaboration and diverse points of view, so we work closely with partners around the globe. As a team, we assume positive intent in each other’s words and actions, value constructive discussions, and foster a respectful working environment built on integrity, growth, and business value. We invest heavily in our people who are eager to learn and constantly improve. Join our team and grow with us!

We’re seeking a senior, execution-focused Senior Technical Program Manager to lead delivery of a high-impact initiative central to PitchBook’s growth strategy. This role will drive cross-functional execution for a new deal sourcing product, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Design, and Commercial teams to translate strategic vision into scalable, measurable outcomes. As the program leader, you will bring structure to ambiguity—aligning stakeholders around clear goals, milestones, and success metrics while managing complex dependencies across teams and systems. You will ensure disciplined planning, risk management, and delivery predictability as the product evolves from early concept through launch and scale.

This highly visible role requires strong technical fluency, operational rigor, and the ability to synthesize diverse inputs into actionable execution plans. You will proactively identify risks, manage tradeoffs across scope and schedule, and maintain executive visibility in progress and outcomes. Success in this role requires influence without authority, a bias for action, and the ability to drive alignment across executive leadership, engineering, and commercial teams to deliver a market-defining solution.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end execution of strategic, cross-functional initiatives across Product, Design, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams, aligning vision to execution and ensuring successful delivery and market readiness
  • Translate technical strategy into structured execution plans, defining milestones, deliverables, success metrics, resource needs, and measurable business outcomes
  • Identify and drive resolution of execution roadblocks, surfacing risks early, challenging misaligned assumptions, clarifying tradeoffs, and presenting solution paths that enable timely, well-informed leadership decisions
  • Drive cross-team alignment and dependency management, mapping system, roadmap, and integration dependencies while proactively managing sequencing risks and tradeoffs across scope, schedule, and resources
  • Identify and mitigate execution risks and blockers, escalating when appropriate to maintain delivery predictability and momentum
  • Drive program visibility and governance through executive and steering committee facilitation and decision-ready written communications (status reports, executive briefs, decision memos, and risk summaries) ensuring clear decisions and accountable outcomes
  • Bring structure to ambiguity and improve delivery rigor, coaching teams on planning discipline, and continuous improvement of program management standards
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management leading complex, cross-functional software or platform initiatives
  • Strong technical fluency with the ability to engage in architecture and system design discussions and translate technical concepts into business impact
  • Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale, platform, or vendor-integrated systems across multiple teams
  • Proven ability to manage dependencies, integration challenges, and risk across interconnected systems and roadmaps
  • Experience partnering with engineering leadership and enterprise architects to influence design decisions and ensure cross-system alignment
  • Strong program management fundamentals, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and stakeholder communication
  • Analytical mindset with experience building reporting frameworks and using data to drive prioritization and execution decisions
  • Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments while managing competing priorities
  • Experience leading cross-functional delivery of AI-powered product capabilities, with working knowledge of large language models (LLMs), model evaluation frameworks, and key production trade-offs such as latency, cost, reliability, and integration complexity
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience engaging stakeholders across varying levels of seniority
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
