Job Description:

This position is for a Technical Program Manager (TPM), within the Program Management Office (PMO) at SiFive. The primary charter for this group is to plan and manage the execution of processor core IP development programs from initial engineering scoping through product release. 

As a TPM at SiFive, you will work with engineers passionate about designing industry-leading CPU cores and the tools, software and infrastructure to realize that vision, as well as a product marketing team focused on bringing RISC-V to new markets.  SiFive is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with lots of opportunities, and we are looking for people who are as excited as we are about bringing new IP and complete solutions to market predictably, quickly, and at a high level of quality.

An ideal candidate will have experience with bringing processor IP to production, as well as familiarity with the software development and release process.  Experience managing hardware development programs using AGILE methodology is a plus.

Responsibilities:
● Collaborate with stakeholders/technical leads in cross-functional teams to develop schedule, resourcing allocation, and overall plan to meet program goals.
● Build a plan for effective execution, monitoring/tracking and identifying critical paths, program risks and issues, from planning through execution, delivery, and support phases.
● Co-ordinate cross-functional group activities, track dependencies. Drive teams to meet schedules and goals.
● Participate in technical discussions, be able to resolve high-level project issues.
● Lead tasks, issues reporting and resolution.
● Responsible for effective and consistent communication and reporting of overall program status.
● Participate in developing, improving project, program management, and product life cycle processes.
 

Requirements:

● Experience with CPU technology and associated software and tools development.

● Ability to facilitate technical discussions and can drive engineering decisions.

● Proficiency with Git/Github, JIRA, Confluence.

● Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

● Experience with project and program management tools and processes for effective, efficient planning and execution is a strong plus.

● BS/MS degree in EE, CE, CS or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Pay & Benefits

Consistent with SiFive values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. We have a market-based pay structure which varies by location.  Please note that the base pay range is a guideline, and our compensation range reflects the cost of labor in the U.S. geographic market based on the location of the role. Pay within these ranges varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant work experience. 

For candidates who receive and offer, the starting salary will vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, such qualifications as, skill level, competencies, and work location.  The range provided may represent a candidate range and may not reflect the full range for an individual tenured employee.

Base Pay Range

$217,800.00-$266,200.00

In addition to base pay, this role may be eligible for variable/ incentive compensation and/ or equity.  In addition, this role is eligible for a comprehensive, competitive benefits package which may include healthcare and retirement plans, paid time off, and more!
