Job Description
Team
Product Security is shifting-everywhere and enabling ServiceNow engineers to build-in security throughout the SSDL. The DevSecOps team builds, integrates, and scales security services to help ServiceNow simplify security activities for thousands of internal customers.
The Role:
As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead the articulation of the "what" and "why" for security tooling services, integrations, and automations. You'll actively engage with business users and technical leadership across ServiceNow to understand, define, and prioritize service requirements and use cases for the DevSecOps team. In addition, you'll be responsible for managing the team's backlog and ruthlessly prioritizing work to keep the team focused on its OKRs.
Responsibilities:
  • Drive numerous project deliverables that support the DevSecOps program, including functional, non-functional specifications, data visualization, solution design, process diagram, acceptance criteria, automated test scripts and other project artifacts.
  • Build feedback loops with our customers in AppSec, Champions, IT, Product development and Developer Productivity. Communicate regularly with our internal customers to ensure rapid and effective feedback into the team's progress and decisions.
  • Committed to delivering products that not only satisfy user requirements, but also excites them. Going above and beyond to anticipate internal customer needs and delivering the best user experience possible when using our services, integrations and automations.
  • Clarify acceptance criteria, articulate customer desires, and validate that the "definition of done" for each iteration or sprint in the release cycle meets the needs of our customers.
  • Lead OKR planning, milestone reviews and retrospectives for the team.
  • Provide functional leadership for technology enhancements, upgrades, new tooling deployment and work successfully as a liaison with various internal customers partners.
  • Partner with AppSec, Champions, IT, Product development and Developer Productivity organization to provide training, support, and technical assistance to end users.
  • Participate within an Agile scrum team, write, enhance, research user stories and be responsible as business lead and central subject matter expert.
    • Ensure there are sufficient stories groomed and "ready to work" for a minimum of 2 sprints in advance
    • Keep the backlog realistic, visible, transparent, and clear to all, and shows what the DevSecOps team will work on next
    • Ensuring the team understands items in the Product Backlog to the level needed
  • Streamline work process to improve efficiency and consistency.

Qualifications
  • Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's potential impact on the function or industry.
  • 5 years' experience as a TPM or Scrum Product Owner providing DevSecOps services and integrations.
  • 2 years' experience leading OKR planning, reviews and retrospectives with teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills, solid attention to detail and proven project management skills.
  • Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to execute process improvements and solutions.
  • Proven success in working collaboratively, improving efficiency, and crafting/coordinating the implementation of ideas.
  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to partner with teams across the company.
  • Ability to develop and propose potential solutions and plans for next steps, exhibiting confidence in anticipating obstacles and the consequences of decisions to drive projects forward.
