THE ROLE 

Join Portworx® by Everpure™ and drive technical positioning for Kubernetes data management within our high-growth Cloud Native Business Unit. You will bridge the gap between complex engineering and customer success by designing immersive demos and narratives for AI/ML and modern virtualization workloads. This role empowers you to influence product direction through direct collaboration with Product, Sales, and the global CNCF community. You’ll build a visible industry brand while working alongside a passionate, supportive team dedicated to the evolution of the Everpure™ Platform.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strategic Content Leadership: Architect and produce high-impact technical assets—from deep-dive white papers to interactive labs—that translate Portworx® capabilities into tangible solutions for complex customer pain points.
  • Industry Thought Leadership: Drive global market awareness by securing speaking engagements at major industry conferences and cultivating expert-level engagement within the open-source and cloud-native communities.
  • Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as the definitive technical authority for the Portworx® portfolio, specifically optimizing alliance solutions with partners like Red Hat and SUSE to differentiate our offerings in a competitive landscape.
  • Go-To-Market Enablement: Orchestrate comprehensive technical training and enablement packages for Sales Engineering and Field Marketing to ensure the global sales organization is proficient in demonstrating the value of the Everpure™ Platform.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Technical Marketing Authority: Extensive professional background in Technical Marketing, Solutions Architecture, or Developer Advocacy, specifically focused on the Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystem.
  • Communication Excellence: A proven ability to transform intricate technical data into compelling, market-ready narratives and the confidence to present these insights to both executive and highly technical audiences (Platform Engineers, DevOps, Cloud Architects, SREs, IT infrastructure managers, and IT Decision Makers).
  • Cloud-Native Proficiency: Experience in platform engineering, DevOps best practices, and modern technologies including container storage, data protection, and the infrastructure requirements of AI/ML workloads.
  • Strategic Collaboration: The ability to navigate cross-functional environments, aligning with Product Management and Alliances to drive business impact and set the standard for best-in-class technical execution.
  • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA or Bellevue, WA office in compliance with Everpure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

The annual base salary range is:
$175,000$265,000 USD

  • Extensive experience in Technical Marketing, Solutions Architecture, or Developer Advocacy focused on Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems.
  • Deep knowledge of container storage, data protection, and infrastructure requirements for AI/ML workloads.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical information into market-ready narratives and present to executive and technical audiences.
  • Experience with platform engineering and DevOps best practices.
  • Familiarity or experience working with partners like Red Hat and SUSE and engagement in CNCF/open-source communities.
  • Experience producing technical assets such as white papers, interactive labs, and demos.
  • Ability to create and deliver technical enablement and training for Sales Engineering and field teams.
  • Willingness and ability to work from the Santa Clara, CA or Bellevue, WA office (on-site requirement).
