Job Summary:
Collaborate closely with internal Project Managers, Clinical Application Specialists, Field Service Engineers, Technical Consultants, third-party vendors, and customer technical leaders to deliver medical device projects. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining databases, as well as troubleshooting IT infrastructure systems and customer-related issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with Philips Solution Architects to support sales solution design and drive process progression
- Conduct site readiness assessments and perform technical checks to support system configuration or integration solutions
- Prepare on-site installation drawings and maintain documentation for project progress and related activities
- Guide customers in implementing and operating Philips-provided solutions
- Develop in-depth technical expertise and provide support for solution implementation based on system status and data analysis
- Design and refine software tools or models to enable data exchange and troubleshoot issues of Philips products or external systems
- Design architectures or models within clinical informatics systems, including value-added software solutions
- Independently diagnose and resolve complex customer issues with strong IT knowledge and skills
- Manage small to medium-sized projects on-site and take over certain responsibilities from Project Managers when needed
Key competences / experiences:
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Proficiency in at least one mainstream programming language (Java, C#, or C++), with familiarity in development frameworks and tools (e.g., VS.NET, Eclipse)
- Ability to develop web applications using one or more of the following: C#.NET, Java, ASP.NET, JSP, Python
- Strong database programming and optimization skills, with knowledge of common design patterns and practical software architecture experience
- Understanding of IT infrastructure, network configuration, and common hardware/software systems; familiarity with virtualization and cloud platform setup and configuration
- Strong time management and planning skills, with the ability to adjust priorities based on changing customer needs
- Experience with hospital informatics systems based on HL7/DICOM is a plus
- Knowledge of edge device programming (e.g., sensors, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and logical thinking, with clear and structured expression
