Job Summary

The Senior Technical Analyst plays a critical role in advancing the digital capabilities of our Commercial and Private Banking business within the Digital and Mobile Experience Technology team. As the senior-most SME, this role leads the analysis, design, and implementation of integrated technology solutions across a diverse portfolio of vendor-hosted applications. Key focus areas include digital banking, integrated payments, cash flow and liquidity management, fraud prevention and security, information reporting and analytics, compliance and risk management.
Operating within a blended onshore/offshore delivery model, this role partners closely with product owners, vendors, and cross-functional teams to drive backlog execution and Agile delivery. Looking ahead, the analyst will help shape the digital transformation roadmap—bridging legacy systems with future-state architecture and championing low-code integration strategies.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Solution Delivery: Lead the elicitation and documentation of business and technical requirements. Design and validate data models, map business processes to technical workflows, and develop integration logic with a focus on usability, performance, and client experience.  Collaborate with business, vendor, and technology teams to ensure alignment, quality, compliance and delivery. 
  • Agile Team Leadership: Serve as ScrumMaster for the Commercial and Private Bank Digital team. Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a high-performing team culture across onshore and offshore contributors.
  • Release Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding of vendor releases, including review of release documentation, impact assessment, test planning and execution, environment readiness, and change management—ensuring seamless integration, minimal disruption, and alignment with business and user needs.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Comply with all processes, requests and initiatives required to ensure responsible platforms meet regulatory and security standards, maintaining audit readiness and policy adherence.
  • Mentoring and Team Leadership: Guide and support junior analysts and testers, fostering knowledge sharing and ensuring consistent delivery quality across the team.
  • Production Support: Provide ongoing support including issue triage, root cause analysis, and coordination of resolution efforts across internal and vendor teams.

ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Performs special projects, and additional duties and responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent required.
  • 8+ Years(Minimum 8 years of experience in a technology-focused role, with at least 4 years supporting complex software development or integration projects). Comparable experience may include roles in technical business analysis, systems integration, or software implementation within the financial services environment.
  • Deep understanding of banking and financial services domains, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to vendor platforms and proprietary systems.
  • Proven experience leading Agile teams as a ScrumMaster or Agile facilitator, with mastery of Agile ceremonies and backlog management. 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive clarity and alignment through structured backlog refinement, prioritization, and iterative planning in Agile or Agile-variant environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education level preferred: Undergraduate Degree (4 years or equivalent)  Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. 
  • Experience with the following financial services platforms is highly valued:
    • Fiserv: Commercial Center, DNA, ACH+, EPP,
    • FIS: D1B, Systematics, ACHPS
  • Experience designing and implementing low-code solutions, including workflow automation and API integrations.
  • Experience with modern integration platforms such as Azure Integration or MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers or applying user experience principles in solution design.
  • ICAgile Certified Professional (ICP)
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
  • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400) 
  • Certifications in SQL, web services, or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)

  • System & Integration Design and Implementation: Demonstrates strong ability to translate business and technical requirements into effective system and integration designs. Applies knowledge of integration patterns (e.g., point-to-point, pub/sub, API-led, batch) to recommend and implement scalable, maintainable solutions that align with enterprise architecture and support seamless data flow across platforms. Proven understanding of web service APIs and messaging systems.
  • Agile Delivery Practices: Demonstrates strong proficiency in applying Agile and Agile-variant methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) to drive iterative, value-focused delivery. Effectively collaborates within cross-functional teams, embraces continuous feedback, and adapts to change while maintaining alignment with business priorities and user needs.
  • Testing Strategy & Quality Awareness: Demonstrates strong understanding of testing principles, strategies, and best practices across the software development lifecycle. Collaborates effectively with the Testing CoE while maintaining the ability to define test approaches, contribute to test planning, and ensure quality outcomes through thoughtful validation of requirements and solution design.
  • Analytical Thinking, Problem Solving & Process Orientation: Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex scenarios, identify root causes, and develop effective, data-informed solutions. Applies a structured, process-oriented approach to tasks, ensuring clarity, consistency, and efficiency. Balances attention to detail with big picture thinking to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
  • Communication & Documentation: Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills, effectively tailoring messages for technical and non-technical audiences. Produces clear, structured documentation such as process maps, data flows, and technical specifications, while also crafting concise release notes, stakeholder communications, and user-facing materials that support transparency and alignment.
  • Agile Facilitation & Team Empowerment: Demonstrates strong ability to lead Agile ceremonies, foster team accountability, and drive continuous improvement. Creates a collaborative environment that supports velocity, transparency, and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement: Demonstrates strong ability to build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders by communicating clearly, collaborating proactively, and leveraging cross-functional insights. Aligns relationship-building efforts with enterprise goals to accelerate performance and drive strategic outcomes. Builds trust by identifying stakeholder needs and delivering tailored solutions that enhance the overall client experience.
