About the Role
Location: United States, Remote
The Technical Operations team is a key part of Videoamp responsible for onboarding new clients onto our platform or existing clients onto new solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing technical support for clients. Specifically, you will work closely with our clients to ensure their successful adoption of VideoAmp's platform and solutions, including the setup and configuration of campaigns, integrations, and data flows. You will also work with our internal teams, such as Sales, Client Success, and Engineering, to ensure a seamless and successful client experience.

In addition to onboarding and technical support, you will also play a critical role in identifying and resolving complex technical issues that arise during campaign setup and execution. You will be responsible for investigating and troubleshooting issues during the client lifecycle, working closely with our Engineering and Product teams to identify root causes and develop solutions. As such, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are key requirements for this role.

As a client-facing role, excellent communication skills are also critical. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, providing timely and effective communication throughout the onboarding and support process. You will also be expected to provide ongoing technical guidance and support to ensure client success and satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Dedicated trusted advisor for enterprise level clients and first point of contact for technical support to execute a smooth onboarding experience

  • Lead the technical onboarding process for new clients, including platform setup, data integration, and configuration of user accounts

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, providing ongoing support and troubleshooting for technical issues by utilizing internal databases and tools

  • Work cross-functionality with internal teams in product, engineering, and data science if needed to investigate, resolve, and help update clients or team technologies, processes, or policies where needed

  • Monitor platform and data performance to proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact clients

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and trends in TV and video advertising

  • Lead for provide robust testing support including UI changes or new products that the team will provide support for to ensure end to end external functionality

  • Resolves highly complex or non-routine client issues or inquiries as needed

  • Daily communication with account team counterparts for reviewing current and upcoming business needs and timelines

  • Operations lead for any testing including UI changes or new products that the team will provide support for

  • Owning and developing end to end documentation on processes or workflows for the team

Required Experience/Skills 

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • 6+ years of proven experience within an ad operations role or relevant experience

  • Deep understanding of ad operations, trafficking, and 3rd party vendors

  • Passion for designing processes that scale and “getting their hands dirty” by digging into technical operations for optimal solutions

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

  • Capacity to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of relevant technologies and systems, including databases, APIs, and scripting languages

  • Strong documentation skills for capturing the project and processes

This position has a salary range of $150,000 - $190,000 + Equity + Benefits. The actual compensation offer will be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, applicant's qualifications, skills, and experience.
