Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Lead with deep expertise in HCL Commerce and Microservice Architecture to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable eCommerce solutions. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage technical roadmaps, and ensure best practices in software engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of HCL Commerce-based applications.
- Architect and build scalable microservices that integrate with HCL Commerce.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to development teams across the SDLC.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Drive performance optimization, scalability, and reliability in microservice-based systems.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor junior developers.
- Manage integration with third-party systems like payment gateways, CRM, ERP, etc.
- Work with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, security, and data privacy standards.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong hands-on experience with HCL Commerce (v9 preferred) – customization, REST APIs, data model, catalog, pricing, order management.
- Solid experience in Microservices Architecture – Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, etc.
- Experience with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Certification in HCL Commerce or related technology stack.
- Experience with GraphQL, Kafka, ElasticSearch, or other modern enterprise tools.
