Essential Duties:
- Tax Compliance & Planning: Manage various federal and partnership compliance and planning projects including training, review, and tracking.
- Financial Reporting – ASC 740; Manage quarterly and annual Financial Reporting compliance
- Audit & Examination: Manage or assist with {Federal, State, Partnership] examination issues.
- Process Improvement & Work Allocation: Assist with work allocation/prioritization decisions for compliance, planning, and other projects. Assist fellow tax management/staff with process improvements to create efficiencies.
- Manage third party outsourcing partners in every aspect of projects to ensure tasks are being done timely and accurately
- Leadership & Team Management: Direct managing of teammates, providing training, mentorship, and annual performance reviews.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform other ad hoc duties as required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business, with an emphasis in Accounting.
- 7-11 years of professional experience in a public accounting or large corporate tax department experience

- A detailed understanding of ASC 740 and GAAP Financial Reporting.

- Proficient in verbal and written communications; ability to partner with senior business leaders and explain technical concepts to colleagues without a technical tax background.

- Ability to identify and define problems, gather and review data, assess the alternatives, interpret the results, manage the risk, and communicate findings.
Certifications:
Professional Certification (Certified Public Accountant (CPA) strongly preferred.

The Salary Range for the role is $119,000.00 - $172,000.00 per year.If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.Washington Exempt: $80,168.40/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $19.13/hour, Burien: $21.63/hour, Everette: $20.77/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.82/hour, Renton: $21.57/hour, Seattle: $21.30/hour, Tukwila: $21.65/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $17.13/hour
