Job Title: Tax Senior Analyst

Position Overview:
· The Tax Senior Analyst will play an important role in supporting the U.S. tax reporting and compliance effort with a fast-paced global medical device organization. In addition to working directly with the Tax Manager on domestic tax reporting and compliance matters, the Tax Senior Analyst will work cross-functionally with busines units to consult on tax matters and support strategic initiatives. This role will include a mix of financial reporting for taxes under ASC 740, direct and indirect tax compliance, U.S. international tax compliance (GILTI, BEAT, etc.), and strategic project work.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the preparation of the quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, and ensuring accurate and timely tax accounting disclosures.
· Assist in the preparation and review of federal, state, and international income tax filings.
· Manage the tax compliance calendar and coordinate timing and inputs with tax team and with external advisors.
· Prepare all U.S. indirect tax filings.
· Calculate and file/pay federal and state extensions and quarterly estimated taxes.
· Assist with a broad range of federal, state, and international tax related special projects.
· Assist with federal and state tax audits. Respond and resolve tax notices.
· Maintain and improve all tax-related compliance and business processes.
· Document internal controls and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley 404 tax compliance.
· Research tax issues and draft memorandum to ensure compliance with relevant income tax laws.
· Prepare tax analyses, analytical support, and other assistance with special projects as needed.
Education and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
· CPA and/or MST preferred.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
· Experience with ASC 740 accounting for income taxes including stock-based compensation, valuation analysis and uncertain tax positions.
· Experience with preparing corporate tax return workpapers and filing U.S. federal and state income tax returns.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple concurrent tasks.
· Ability to build collaborative working relationships across the organization.
· Self-motivated – able to work both individually and as a member of a team.
· Experience with tax-based research tools.
· Strong Excel skills required. Experience with One Source Tax Provision (OTP) a plus.
· Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in a global corporate environment or public accounting firm with SEC experience.

Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $78,800.00 - $118,400.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
