Adeptus Partners, LLC, a growing full-service CPA firm, with offices in New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, Maryland, White Plains, and California, is seeking a Senior Tax Accountant for our office located in Ocean, NJ. We cultivate unique relationships with each client, accommodating specific needs and work to provide the personal attention, recognition and respect our clients deserve.

Job Responsibilities:

This position will work closely with the current accounting staff and management, including but not limited to:

• Prepare individual, corporate (S corp and C corp), partnership tax returns

• Review General Ledger and reports to assist in preparation of tax projections

• Perform tax research and planning, as needed, to solve client’s tax issues

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports that may include net worth statements, cash flow schedules, meeting packages, budgets, investment analysis, tour reconciliations, etc.

• Assist client service team with other projects, as necessary

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

• 4+ years Accounting experience

• Strong interpersonal skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Solid computer skills including tax software and MS Excel, Word

• Exceptional analytical skills

• Ability to manage multiple engagements while meeting deadlines

• Strong attention to detail

Preferred:

• CPA license

• Experience with Lacerte

• Experience with QuickBooks

• Experience in International taxation
