Our Team

Highspring’s Talent Acquisition team partners with leaders across the enterprise to attract, assess and hire talent that supports our business and clients. We are seeking a temporary recruiter who can quickly integrate with the team, manage assigned searches and deliver a consistent, high-quality hiring experience in a fast-paced professional services environment.

This is a temporary, hourly position expected to last approximately 6–8 months, based on business needs. The role will provide additional recruiting capacity during a period of increased hiring demand and team member leave coverage. It offers flexibility to work remotely; however, preference will be given to candidates who can work from Highspring’s McLean office as needed. The recruiter will work closely with Talent Acquisition colleagues and hiring teams across Highspring and will be expected to operate independently and maintain momentum across multiple searches throughout the assignment.

What Will You Do?

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition colleagues, hiring leaders and interview teams across Highspring to understand role requirements, establish recruiting plans and manage assigned searches from intake through offer acceptance.
  • Develop targeted sourcing strategies using professional networks, referrals, social media, job boards, industry groups and direct outreach.
  • Source passive prospects, manage inbound applicants and make timely disposition decisions based on agreed-upon job requirements.
  • Conduct structured screening interviews to assess relevant experience, capabilities, motivations, compensation expectations and alignment with the opportunity.
  • Present qualified, interested candidates for roles across Highspring’s business lines and shared services functions, based on the needs of the engagement.
  • Coordinate interviews, maintain clear communication with candidates and hiring teams, and support offer development, negotiation and acceptance.
  • Build and maintain pipelines for current and anticipated hiring needs, documenting activity and candidate status accurately in Highspring’s recruiting systems.
  • Deliver a responsive, professional candidate experience that reflects Highspring’s culture and provides clear, timely information throughout the recruiting process.
  • Provide accurate pipeline reporting, identify risks or bottlenecks and support recruiting projects, events and process improvements as needed.

  • Results-oriented approach with the ability to prioritize competing demands, meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, sound judgment and a service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to ramp up quickly, work independently within established processes and collaborate effectively as part of a distributed team.
