CACI is seeking a motivated Senior Systems Engineer to to join our growing program comprised of multiple agile development teams supporting a test and integration effort. You will work together with end users, stakeholders, and your teammates in a fast-paced environment creating mission critical system applications with technical expertise directly supporting Systems Engineering
requirements for various platforms.
The Senior Systems Engineer will support a test and integration effort and will be responsible for deploying, integrating and troubleshooting the latest available software build against hardware components. They will generate problem reports and support OEM/Gov't debugging and RCA of reported issues. They will be using DevSecOps principles into integration and testing activities. This position reports on-site in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities:
Manage systems engineering activities including requirements analyses, functional analyses, design solutions formulation, systems analysis and control, and generation and maintenance of systems architecture products.
- Apply system engineering principles and procedures to translate quantified needs/requirements into system performance parameters and the identification of system/item configuration.
- Formulate and issue systems engineering documents, processes, procedures and milestones.
- Evaluate design efforts to ensure integration of all the engineering disciplines and adequacy of the analyses performed.
- Review test plans, procedures, and reports for technical adequacy on assigned programs, for both Government and contractor tests, as well as all failure reports.
- Review and evaluate system performance against specification requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- An active Secret clearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Engineering - Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace,
Software, Math, Physics) from an accredited University or equivalent experience substituted in lieu of education - Minimum 7 years of experience working in one or more of the following areas, with preference
towards candidates whose work experience includes DoD projects: - Experience deploying software updates to systems and troubleshooting issues encountered during build checkouts.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps principles/processes
- Integration or Testing experience with a preference towards candidates with experience in automated/ scripted testing
- Experience developing requirements, documentation, and design
- Familiarity with standard DoD System Engineering Process and terms such as Interface Control Documents (ICDs), System Requirements Documents (SRD), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Preliminary Design Review (PDR), Critical Design Review (CDR), Customer Acceptance

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$94,000 - $197,400
