Department OverviewWith over 20 Billion rows of license plate and geospatial data, Digital Recognition Network (http://drndata.com) is a fast-growing License Plate Recognition Data company that is looking for a Sr. Systems Analyst who will report directly to the VP of Product and help drive the analytics for our On-Car and Fixed LPR Systems and associated Commercial Market products.
Job Description

The Sr. Systems Analyst will be responsible for identifying and managing dependencies between customer requirements and SLA’s against our current automated workflows to develop the strategic and tactical implementation plan for key initiatives/ programs. Additionally, this role will support application deployments, use multiple software tools to identify potential system issues and be proactive in their resolution. This role will liaise between key technology, client services and business partners across the organization.

Scope of Responsibilities

  • This role is part of the product team to launch and support new and existing programs across multiple business segments.

  • Focus on monitoring systems on an ongoing basis.

  • Assisting in quality control testing of development work

  • Assisting in post code deployments and system upgrades.

  • Troubleshooting, flows and follow issues to their logical source

  • Assisting and coordination of work efforts

  • Projects requirements/enhancements gathering

  • Align team processes to achieve participant satisfaction

  • Enable team to resolve key priorities quickly and thoroughly

  • Identifies and resolves interpersonal conflicts and resource issues

  • Continuously improves process and operations within the team to drive higher quality results and more efficient workflow and processes - including the identification and implementation of new tools and systems to improve the efficacy of the team

Specific Knowledge/Skills

  • Demonstrate ability to think programmatically / familiarity with a programming language

  • Ability to troubleshoot application logs to determine failure points in processes

  • Must be able to understand and investigate API endpoints in a Json format

  • Must have an integration mindset to be able to understand complicated work

  • Exceptional time management skills are required and must have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast paced environment 

  • Must know how to read and build SQL queries

  • Strong coaching skills required 

  • Proven knowledge of company objectives and priorities - understanding of how it aligns with support objectives

  • Strong communication (verbal, listening and writing) skills

  • Demonstrated leadership skills - within the current team and ability to work with external teams to drive priorities for support and customer needs

  • Disaster recovery/redundancy knowledge

  • 2+ years of management or team lead experience is preferred.

Familiarity with the following technologies/Tools:

  • SQL

  • Tableau / PowerBI

  • Kibana

  • New Relic 

  • Jira

  • Insomnia REST

  • JSON

This position is a remote position and candidates can be located anywhere in the US.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • OR 6+ years technical experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
