Meet the team:


The HR IT Systems Team supports and maintains software-as-a-service (SaaS) and enterprise-wide applications built to scale Dexcom’s service and delivery model. It is responsible for the implementation of enhancements across multiple platforms, namely, Workday as our HR Information System, SAP SuccessFactors as our Learning Management System, and ServiceNow as our HR and IT case management portal.

The team partners closely with the HR, Payroll, and IT teams to support system and process improvements within Workday (HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Absence, Benefits, Advanced Compensation, Integrations, and Reporting), SAP Learning, and ServiceNow.

Roles within the team will require strong knowledge and familiarity in the administration and configuration of various functions within Human Capital Management, as well as strong excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Where you come in:

  • You collaborate with Talent Management and HR Business Partner teams to implement new functionality or optimize existing features within the Workday Performance and Goals modules.

  • You generate detailed documentation of all configuration changes or upgrades deployed.

  • You troubleshoot and diagnose system issues, recommending effective solutions.

  • You manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • You maintain the integrity and confidentiality of Human Resource files and records.

  • You administer and maintain HR information systems, including ADP, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, SharePoint, ServiceNow HR, and other internal information systems as assigned.

  • You possess subject matter expert-level knowledge of assigned Workday modules and other key systems to support escalated issue resolution and provide HR Systems support and guidance.

  • You track system updates and coordinate implementation to ensure continuity of operations and support business needs.

  • You support or lead the implementation of HR Systems-related projects on both a planned and ad-hoc basis, including upgrades, annual updates, weekly/monthly refreshes, changes to policies, and other technical projects that arise.

  • You consistently collaborate with all team members in HR and HR Systems, communicating effectively with all levels of the company as well as third-party support vendors.


What makes you successful:

  • You have a minimum of 3 years of experience configuring the Performance, Goals, and Talent modules in Workday.

  • You possess at least 2 years of progressive experience in HR systems, including business process configuration, reporting, designing workflows, and security administration.

  • You demonstrate the ability and experience to translate business requirements into system configurations.

  • You are highly organized and capable of prioritizing tasks during high-volume periods to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • You have the ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders and establish strong working relationships.

  • You work well in teams or independently, adapting to various work environments.

  • You are experienced in Performance Management and Goals Management Systems Administration.

  • You handle Talent Data Calibration and Succession Planning Systems Administration effectively.

  • You manage Career Development, Skills, Mentoring, and Career Planning Systems Administration.

  • You can produce reports and analytics related to Talent Data.

  • You have high intermediate to advanced knowledge of HCM Integrated suite capabilities and configuration.

  • Your proficiency in Excel is at a high intermediate to advanced level.

  • You possess high intermediate to advanced knowledge of Project Administration.
