Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Infrastructure Management Specialist with a strong focus on Oracle Database Administration. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in managing and optimizing infrastructure systems, with a proven track record in Oracle database environments. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our database systems while supporting our overall IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Oracle databases, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Perform database installations, configurations, upgrades, and migrations.
- Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies to optimize efficiency.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to support application development and deployment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database related issues.
- Document database configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in database management.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database Administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
- Experience with database backup and recovery techniques.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization strategies for Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with database security best practices.
- Experience with other database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server).
- Knowledge of cloud based database solutions (e.g., Oracle Cloud, AWS RDS).
- Understanding of infrastructure management tools and practices.
- Experience with automation tools for database management.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- B.E, B.Tech, MCA, BCA
- 2 5 years of relevant experience in database administration and infrastructure management.
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
