Quevera is seeking a Sr. System Administrator/System Engineer - Linux to join our team. REQUIRED - MUST have a current TS/SCI Polygraph clearance to apply for role. Only those with a current TS/SCI with Poly clearance will be considered.

 Duties and Responsibilities: 

Team Member - Sr. System Administrator / Engineer - Linux

Supporting high viability mission environment.    

Work Location:  Oracle SCIF located at NBP 306, or contractor facility in Columbia, Maryland.  One day per week at Customer location at FANX 3.  

Duty hours are weekday evenings and 12 hour Sat/Sun weekend shift as needed.

Required Experience:

Linux - (CentOS/RHEL) Linux admin certification desired

Extensive experience installing, configuring, maintaining JBoss / Wildfly

VMWare VM creation, configuration, and operation experience

Security + Certification

Desired Experience:

  • Storage 
  • Networking 
  • Security Compliance 
  • Authentication 
  • Scripting: Shell, Python preferred
  • Physical Server Administration
  • Currently holds or recently held SYS3 PRIVAC level.
  • Oracle Database and possibly some DBA experience
  • JavaScript Object Notation (JSON)
