What you will bring to the team.
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a self-directed software engineer with previous experience in software development, to join our team in Guadalajara, Mexico. The Software Engineer designs, builds, and supports custom software solutions for some of the world’s largest retailers.
What you will be doing:
Your typical day as a Toshiba Software Support Engineer III will involve:
- Incidents handling: Investigation, Debbuging, reproduction and communication.
- Programming duties including coding, design, testing, building fixes, investigation, fixing/verifying defects.
- Resolution of technical challenges requiring a narrow scope of domain and discipline knowledge.
- Provide technical guidance / resolution on production and lab issues within a defined SLO.
- Generate and validate product documentation.
- Client-facing professionalism and skills.
- Learn about TGCS product offerings and how clients use them.
- Learn about how TGCS products go from an idea to a fully-fledged product.
Naturally To be successful in this role, you must have and know of:
- Bachelor’s degree of Electronics, Mechatronics, Software Development or related.
- 6-8 years of experience working with C or C++ (L3 support or developing).
- Low level code experience related with hardware.
- Conversational english.

- Java
- Python
