Job Summary

Senior Supply Chain Manager 

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will bring deep expertise across the full end‑to‑end supply chain, from strategic planning through execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the complete flow of materials, information, and processes that support our new business operations. This role requires strong analytical capability, operational leadership, and the ability to optimize complex, multi‑functional supply chain activities. Candidates must demonstrate a proven track record of improving service levels, reducing cost, and driving operational excellence across diverse supply chain environments.  This position requires advanced experience in production planning and scheduling, including capacity planning, line balancing, and coordinating with operational teams to ensure efficient use of resources. The candidate needs to lead the team to develop master production schedules, analyze demand forecasts, and align production plans with business priorities.   Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, constraint‑based scheduling, and continuous improvement methodologies is essential.

The Senior Supply Chain Manager will also assist with procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring MM achievement, supplier performance, cost competitiveness, and risk mitigation. In addition, the candidate will oversee warehouse operations and indirectly support the inventory management team, ensuring optimal stock levels, accurate inventory records, and efficient material flow. This includes implementing inventory control strategies, managing cycle counts, optimizing storage layouts, and improving warehouse processes to support safety, accuracy, and productivity. Familiarity with lean principles, logistics coordination, and KPI‑driven performance management is expected.

Overall, we are seeking a hands‑on, results‑oriented leader who can collaborate across departments, build strong operational processes, and support the growth of a new business unit. The ideal candidate will be proactive, data‑driven, and capable of leading cross‑functional initiatives that enhance supply chain performance end to end.

Responsibilities:

  • One of the key responsibilities is to develop and implement strategic planning processes that optimize production schedules and resource allocation. The Supply Chain Manager will analyze demand forecasts, production capacity, and inventory levels to create balanced plans that align with organizational goals. This involves closely collaborating with production teams, procurement, and logistics to ensure that materials are available in the right quantities and at the right times, facilitating on-time delivery to customers.
  • In the realm of warehousing management, the Supply Chain Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient warehouse operation that prioritizes safety, accuracy, and productivity. This includes overseeing inventory control processes, ensuring that stock levels are monitored accurately, and implementing best practices for storage and order fulfillment. The manager will analyze warehouse performance metrics and develop initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity while maintaining compliance with safety standards. Key performance indicators (KPIs) will include warehouse safety measures and on-time delivery rates, with the manager taking initiative-taking steps to minimize risks and improve overall performance.
  • To further strengthen warehousing operations, the Supply Chain Manager will implement technology solutions to enhance visibility and tracking throughout the inventory management process. This may involve utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) to streamline processes, improve accuracy, and reduce lead times. The manager will also prioritize employee training and development, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency within the warehouse team. By continuously evaluating processes and performance metrics, the Supply Chain Manager will drive ongoing improvements, ensuring the manufacturing site not only meets customer expectations but also enhances operational resilience in a dynamic market environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, analytical capabilities, and a strategic mindset, essential for optimizing both planning and warehousing functions in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Support and indirectly manage procurement/sourcing/inventory management.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 10 + years of relatad experience in Supply Chain Management
  • End-to-end Supply Chain Process experience
  • Ability to quickly analyze and identify problems and assess the data to make informed decisions.
  • Diligent attention to detail to inventory management, order accuracy, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Familiarity with large ERP/Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), other technology and the ability to solve problems related to order processing, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Clear and concise communication is vital for coordinating with staff, vendors, and upper management. The ability to convey issues and solutions effectively is critical.
  • Ability to make decisions promptly, especially in high-pressure situations, is essential for managing operations smoothly and efficiently.
  • Must have the adaptability to warehousing environments and can rapidly change due to fluctuations in demand or unexpected challenges.
  • Must possess strong leadership skills to help motivate and guide team members, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring everyone works together towards common goals.
  • Must have a creative approach to problem-solving that can lead to effective solutions that improve processes and outcomes, whether through technology or process optimization.
