The Sr. Supply Chain Coordinator will be primarily focused on many of the administrative tasks associated with purchase order management post Purchase Order issuance. This role will regularly Interact with our internal procurement team as well as our suppliers, both foreign and domestic, to confirm purchase order quantities, pricing, on time shipment as well as production and best before dates. Serves as the link between procurement and the import clearance team as well as operations. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing the bidding and awarding of distressed inventory to salvage accounts.

  • Responsible for the accurate entry, proofing, and maintenance of all purchase order shipment confirmations & packing list entry prior to handoff to the import clearance team.
  • Receive, organize, upload, and manage purchase order supplier related documents on digital supply chain platform for easy access and reference.
  • Enforce supplier compliance to provide ISF information, packing list and commercial invoice 72 hours prior to shipment departure for purchases from foreign suppliers (24 hours for domestic suppliers to provide packing list).
  • Responsible for the entry, proofing, and maintenance of all production dates, best before dates and manufacturer lot records.
  • Monitor open Purchase Orders to identify any that are late and escalate as needed with the supplier and buyer.
  • Coordinate with logistics for any transportation related activities.
  • Review and post all supplier invoices and ensure a three-way match.
  • Manage exception reports associated with inventory (inventory aging, expiring lots, allocation holds etc.) for distribution amongst the procurement team.
  • Provide Customer Service and Sales teams COA’s and other supplier certificates as needed.
  • Manage biweekly bid and award of distressed inventory to salvage account customers.
  • Additional duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Associate degree, working toward a degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications – especially Excel
  • Ability to drive accountability and work cross-functionally.
  • Basic financial acumen
  • Hybrid work schedule – 3 days mandatory in-office
