We are seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality performance, drive continuous improvement, and serve as a technical authority across supplier, manufacturing, and engineering functions. This role requires strong independence, decision‑making capability, and the ability to influence suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead supplier quality management activities, including audits, performance reviews, and corrective action closure
- Own supplier corrective and preventive action processes and ensure sustainable improvements
- Lead new supplier qualification and new part approval activities
- Analyze quality trends, reduce DPPM, and mitigate supply risk
- Partner with Engineering, Purchasing, and Operations to improve product and process quality
- Support and lead internal, customer, and certification audits
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to Quality Engineers and technicians
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality Engineering
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality systems
- Proven experience with root cause analysis, Lean / Six Sigma methodologies, and supplier development
- Experience working independently with suppliers and cross‑functional teams
- Electronics / PCBA experience and IPC knowledge are a plus
