In this role, you will be the ultimate guardian of quality for our mechanical ecosystem, directly influencing the reliability of Trimble’s world-class hardware. You won't just monitor suppliers; you will lead high-impact recovery projects and shape the manufacturing success of new products from the very first design.
Key Exciting Responsibilities
Lead the Supplier Journey: Own the end-to-end quality lifecycle, from hand-selecting new partners to driving long-term performance and innovation.
Architect Success: Facilitate Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Ramp Readiness programs to ensure every new product launch is flawless from day one.
Champion Root Cause Resolution: Spearhead the formal 8D process, managing cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and safeguard our revenue.
Drive Process Excellence: Proactively analyze process drift and Cpk data to implement continuous improvement strategies that keep our suppliers at the cutting edge.
Essential Skills & Experience
Educational Foundation: BS in Mechanical Engineering or Material Science.
Mechanical Expertise: 5-7 years of experience managing the quality of castings, machined components, and metal fabrications.
Quality Toolkit: Mastery of the 8D process, SPC, and Cpk analysis.
Technical Literacy: Expert ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Bonus Points For:
Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
Experience with international supplier auditing and global quality standards.

This compensation range is based on a full time schedule.
