We Are Looking For 

What You'll Do (Responsibilities)

  • Upload and review responses from suppliers regarding part delivery status 
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors and correct any discrepancies 
  • Enter quotes from suppliers and inter-company as needed 
  • Address suppliers slow to respond and/or non-responsive 
  • Expedite specific urgent items as required 
  • Deliver Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) for chronically late suppliers 
  • Maintain improvement efforts with suppliers on poor delivery performance, utilizing root cause corrective action methodologies 
  • Schedule appointments and office meetings as assigned 
  • Identifies, establishes and maintains order priorities for deliveries with suppliers on focused delivery recovery efforts 
  • Expedite parts on-site at suppliers utilizing lean manufacturing, work prioritization principles as required 
  • Communicate delivery improvement plan actions with Sales and Purchasing leadership teams 
  • Coordinate multiple and changing priorities daily 
  • Take responsibility for own work and provide support to others 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred in business management, business administration or any related field 
  • 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management or a related role, preferably in the aerospace industry 
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and supply chain management software 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities 
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability 

Special Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. 
  • ITAR requirement
  • 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.

In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR.
