Are you ready to make a significant impact in a fast-paced tech environment? The Manager, Strategy and Operations will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across Cribl. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Operations, this leader will lead transformative initiatives that optimize the company’s planning, processes, and programs. The Strategy and Operations team is focused on running the business cadence and being at the forefront of managing business transformation initiatives like our geo expansion efforts.

As An Active Member Of Our Team, You Will ...

Team Leadership and Development

    • Build and lead a high-performing team of strategy and operation leads
    • Focus on talent development and mentorship to support business growth
    • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the team

Strategic Planning, Operational Excellence, Executive Initiatives

    • Spearhead annual strategic planning processes across all departments
    • Design and implement company-wide processes for tracking priorities, goals, and results
    • Ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives by collaborating with finance, product, marketing, and sales teams
    • Oversee business cadence, including preparation of content for board meetings and executive business reviews

Special Projects

    • Manage high-priority, cross-functional, discreet projects directly tied to CEO goals from inception to completion and complex projects that fall outside the scope of regular business operations
    • Oversee execution, budgeting, stakeholder communication (including Executive Communications), and risk management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet company-wide and executive business objectives (MBOs)


If You Got It - We Want It

  • People Management: 4+ years of experience recruiting, building, and managing a high performing team, demonstrating strong decision-making capabilities that balance the needs of the business and the team
  • Experience: 10+ years in corporate strategy, consulting, or business operations roles at top firms or tech companies leading company-wide strategic planning and executive initiatives
  • Communication and Influence: Excellent verbal and visual communication skills with the ability to influence diverse personalities, present complex ideas in compelling and clear ways, and influence decisions at the executive level 
  • Problem Solving and Insight: Adaptable, analytical, and exceptional systems thinker who thrives in ambiguous environments, learns quickly, and approaches challenges entrepreneurially
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Strong functional empathy to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, understand diverse perspectives, and align on shared objectives to achieve results

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in both technology and/or B2B SaaS startup and large, sophisticated company environments
  • MBA or professional business degree
  • Passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion


Salary Range ($195,000 - $220,000)

The salary for this role is dependent on geographic location. The salary offered within the range described will be based on the individual candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.  In addition to a competitive salary, Cribl also offers a generous benefits package which includes health, dental, vision, short-term disability, and life insurance, paid holidays and paid time off, a fertility treatment benefit, 401(k), equity, and eligibility for a discretionary company-wide bonus.
