In this role, you will impact the company by ensuring the delivery of Buy To Sell product, executing strategic long-term agreements with suppliers, and driving cost savings through effective negotiation and supplier management. You will be also responsible for the execution of BTS strategies into AMER Fire business that enables supplier rationalization, supply continuity risk mitigation, and migration of spend to preferred suppliers while achieving lowest Total Cost, reduced Working capital, Value Engineering and Sole/ Single Source elimination. You will lead supplier performance over $55M of BTS spend for Fire business in America, building partnership and will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures, export/import regulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery performance
- Conduct market research and supplier evaluations to identify strategic suppliers and onboard them
- Lead supplier negotiations and contract management to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and supply chain efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
- Engage in new product development to drive business award to preferred suppliers and support the launch schedule and target cost
- Drive world-class performance from supply base
- Secure supply by partnering with suppliers and BA stakeholders to support demand and business growth
- Improve overall operational service levels to the business
YOU MUST HAVE
- 5 or more years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Successfully negotiated strategic supplier agreements managing $25M+ in direct materials spend, achieving cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
- Minimum 3 years of Buy-to-Sell (BTS) sourcing experience, including supplier selection, subcontract management, and execution of sourcing strategies for resale products.
- Experience sourcing direct materials within mechanical and electronic/electrical commodity categories.
