The Role

PandaDoc is in growth mode. We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst who will be a key player in and is truly excited about driving and effectively scaling PandaDoc’s growth. This person will partner with C-level business partners and their teams on all planning, forecasting, and analysis activities.  This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate that wants to be part of building a dynamic, world class FP&A organization that is operating at an accelerated pace and scaling for the future.  

The ideal candidate is highly motivated, a team player, a confident business partner, capable of driving action cross-functionally, analytical, and outstanding at analyzing data and delivering actionable insights. This person is comfortable operating at all levels, with an eye on the strategic big picture, while skillfully managing the financial details.

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with GTM and Product leaders to develop annual budgets, forecasts and financial plans for the Retention funnel
  • Leverage your financial background to support and influence key strategic and business decisions
  • Design and provide analytical rigor to measure efficiency and ROI of investments in headcount and non-headcount expenses
  • Drive reporting, process and discipline for finance routines to shape and influence decision-making (e.g. budget, forecast, monthly reviews, long-range plans)
  • Build and own models for in-depth analyses, as well as ensure their quality, timeliness, and accuracy
  • Define metrics and leading indicators of business performance
  • Partner with cross functional teams, such as Data Science, to develop reporting dashboards
  • Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification and reporting enhancements

Skills Required:

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to work independently, think objectively, and interpret meaningful and insightful narratives from both quantitative as well as qualitative data
  • Financial and Business Acumen:  Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate as well as distill data into actionable information to drive results
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality:  Ability to apply rigorous logic and sound methods to solve multi-faceted problems with effective solutions
  • Relationship Building:  Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners, inclusive of senior members of management with ability to influence at all levels

About you:

  • 4+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
  • A keen analytical eye and experience building integrated models from scratch (in Excel, or other planning applications)
  • Experience building financial models of large scale programs including identifying, assessing and controlling for uncertainty and risk.
  • Ability to build dashboards in Tableau or other BI tools strongly preferred
  • Ability to translate complex concepts into simple takeaways and are not hesitant to voice your point of view
  • Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills are required
  • Prior experience with SalesForce.com or ERP/NetSuite a plus
  • Prior experience in a high-growth high tech/software/SaaS organization is a plus

The annual OTE is up to $135,000 - $150,000 (base + bonus combined).
