Job Description

As a test architect, you will be involved in driving test strategy to achieve the best test coverage and lowest test cost. In addition, this technical leadership role will interface with design, systems, test engineering, to develop DFT strategies. You will also help create templates, tools, guidelines to influence the test development process. Thinking outside the box is critical to this role as you will help drive change in our processes. You will work with test ATE vendors when needed and central operations team to deploy next gen test platforms. The test architect will also provide guidance to the test team and will work to help the team scale. This role would require the candidate to live in the Dallas Metro area or be willing to relocate to the area as this role is hybrid requiring some time onsite as well as working remotely from their home office.

Qualifications

Experience in test role:


  • 5+ to 12+ years; Typ. depending on degree level (BS, MS).
  • Programming in C++, VBA, Other


Degree & Education:


  • BS in electrical engineering or greater or professional equivalent. 


Complexity & Problem Solving:

  • Work on problems of significant and unique challenges/issues with no guidance and full accountability. 



Collaboration & Interaction:


  • Establish relationships with functional teams, collaborate with other test architects in the organization. This role will report to a Sr. Director.


Knowledge & Application:


  • Strong ATE programming skills.
  • Strong understanding of ATE instruments and usage
  • Power and analog test experience
  • Use of tools such as O’Scope, DMM, Spectrum Analyzer, and built in debug tools
  • Mixed signal testing
  • DFT knowledge and experience implementing them on ATE.
  • High voltage or high-power testing
  • Plan out tasks into a timeline and execute to them.
  • Ability to collect technical information and organize / present them as needed.
